Two Funny Little Girls!

Okay so I have a little catching up to do! This past week has been crazy! Last Thursday I woke up to an interesting sound and sight. Lindley was giggling and laughing in her bed, and she had both of her feet hanging out of her PJ's. Please mind you that all the buttons were still secured! She is such a morning person (she gets this from her father not me). Lillie was of course still sleeping in her bed just like her momma would be doing!
Lindley loves to play with her pacifier!

Lindley now can hold her bottle!

Later when I did go and get Lillie up, she jumped out of her bed to run and get her pair of boots. This girl loves to dress up! LOVES! Daily I am finding her putting on whatever she can get her hands on. It could be her sister's pants (while I am changing her diaper), Ellie's doggy sweater (she wears it like a cape!!), Daddy's shoes and socks, or anything! One of her favorites is a plastic container which her play food is supposed to be kept in. She looks like an astronaut! She thinks it is hilarious. I think it is hilarious.

Lillie the astronaut!

Daddy was so sweet!! He brought me home flowers just because! I love that it was just because. I can't believe we have been married 7 years! Time has flown by so fast.

On Friday morning, Wes and I knew that we have turned a parenting corner. Both of our kids were up at 5:40! Instead of mooping and fussing. we put in Jungle Book and enjoyed an early breakfast! Later that day we just laughed about the situation, and Wes even admitted he enjoyed seeing the Jungle Book!

Friday Nights are usually Family Nights. I try my best to plan something special. This was our first Pizza Picnic. Lillie loved eating her pizza outside on a quilt. The weather was so nice! Seemed kind of cool to be a summer evening.

Saturday we had a surprise. My entire family came in for the weekend. Lillie and Lindley both enjoyed seeing Bebe and Pop. Aunt Stephanie was such a help!! She was so great with he kiddos! We had barbque for dinner and s'mores for dessert! Yum!! My mom even helped me start organizin our garage. I still have a long way to go. My summer project is organize our house and life! Starting off slow but I hope to see a light at the end of the tunnel!

Father's Day was great! Had breakfast with my family. Lillie and Lindley gave Wes his cards and presents. Later that afternoon we went to Wes's Mamaw's house to eat dinner with his family.

Yesterday I took Lindley for her 6 month check-up. She did great considering we were in the office for 2 hours! Lillie was hilarious!! While we were waiting, I fixed Lindley a bottle, and of course Lillie had to fix her baby doll ( baby Lillie) her bottle too. She picked up the formula dispenser and pretended to pour some into her bottle and shake it up. She did this over and over! When we finally did get back to the room she found a cabinet to open and she would put her baby bottle into it and close the door and push pretend buttons. She would say microwave bottle! This was so funny! She is so observant! Everthing that I do with Lindley she does with her baby. She is going to make such a good mom some day!! Lindley's visit went really well she is getting so big.
